Hello Madge,

I started a post/thread yesterday in the "Exchanging" category related to this question and ask that you quickly reference that before replying. To sum it up, we bought at Sandy Points 3 years ago and as part of the sale we also opted into RCI points. We have learned just recently that there seems to be an issue with Sandy Points opting out of RCI points and that RCI will not deposit next year's points in our account for that reason. We have verbally/offically agreed to renew our points membership for another 3 years in June of this year but have not yet paid for the 06/07 membership fee. We have made repeated phone calls to RCI and the last response was that unless Sandy Points decided to get back into RCI Points, we would no longer have the option of participating in the RCI Points program.

Can you help?

Thank-you,
Rick Bazemore

Madge-

I have maintained a list of about 20 Tuggers that own at Sandy Point ( some multiple weeks ) and use points. So it will be a great help to many of us to get a definitive answer on this issue. I know your generic answer has been we can still participate in points, but can you get clarification in regards to exactly what the situation is at Sandy Point. In my case back in 2004, I simply faxed the renewal form to RCI Points - Australia with no problem. But it appears that maybe things have changed?? Or maybe it needs to be done in writing rather than verbally?? Need your help.

Many Thanks,

Rick,

Points Participation Agreements that were originated in Australia must be renewed with a new signed agreement at the end of every 3-year term.

If you will contact our office in Australia at aumembers@rciap.com, they can send you the correct form to use. This should be all you need to do except for paying the associated RCI Points annual dues.
