I have this resort on hold with RCI until today. It is a 1 br which I know is not the oceanfront rooms There is also construction there 
working on the balconies on the 1 br units.
I called on Saturday and they said they are trying to accomodate people with balconies if their unit is being worked on and possibly move to the 2 br unit (I kind of doubt that)
They told me to call back on Monday and talk to the girl who handles the assignments. If i confirm today , I still can cancel on Monday, but choices are slim and dont want to loose a week.
We are not picky but.........we wont be in the room that much . there are not many choices in MB with short notice and my TPU. I have to use the week this month so I dont loose it.
Has anyone been to this resort lately? Several yrs ago we stayed at Ocean Club which was ok. Had a small unit there also, studio or 1br so did not get the full ocean view.
Also coming from OH/PA area and not wanting to drive all the way in one day, where is a good stopping point . We were thinking of Charleston WV for a casino for a few hours but would like to overnight further south since that would only be a 4 1/2 hrdrive. Maybe closer so we only have a 5 to 6 hr drive to MB the following day
