Yes thanks. Looks like this was for the actual homes in that area, not the timeshare property, which is having its own issues.
I know nothing about SDCE, other than being aware that there are timeshare units at the locale. So, reading the article, I figured that TUGgers such as you might be interested.

And, since I'm know a homeowner in San Diego Couny, I am aware of the twin issues of flood control and fire hazard are confounding the real estate picture in the area.
 
I thought I had read that SDCE was closing.
 
That was our first timeshare purchase twenty years ago.
 
SDCE does have timeshares, I have been an owner there since 1974. But there are also homes as part of the development. It appears from the article that this is the individual condo units, not the timeshares.

The timeshare association is being dissolved. It has not closed. It is up for sale. Until the sale we continue to pay maintenance fees, we can use the units, give them up for trade (which is what we do).
