We were to have been at OceanWatch (Myrtle Beach) at the end of April now moved to end of October. Got a call from a sales rep last week and follow-up today. He quoted $9.20 per point for cash and $10.90 for financing option via voicemail. I have not called back to hear if there are any other incentives as I know last October in Phoenix they were throwing Destination Points, Bonvoy Points and refund of encore price to us, I thought the price then was ~$14 per point.

Any insights or others experience a call prior to actual Encore visit?

Yes, they are offering at a steep discount but no additional perks. They are also offering deferring these points until 2022 thus eliminating the maintenance fee until 2022 usage year. For me it would be July 1, 2022 usage year, although I did not buy it was tempting. I believe you can buy on the secondary market for an all in cost of $4-6 per point, issue I have is finding ones that match up with my current usage year for ease of booking windows. Also will the secondary market move me up in the Marriott BonVoy status?
