I am thinking of selling my Wyndham points week. How long does the transfer process take?

If I book a week for late 2012 (for myself) and later sell the week in early 2012, can I still use the week/time that I booked even though I will not be a Wyndham points/owner anymore? Is there any thing extra that I need to do?

Transfers usually take 4-6 weeks. Not sure about use, but i would think the answer would be no. My suggestion would be to sell it after you take your week.

It is my understanding that control of the reservervations that are pending go to the owner of record at any given point in time. The new owner is free to cancel the reservation and probably would.

It depends on what account the RCI week ends up in. I worked similar problems, however, the Estate Executor did not want the weeks. I got my own accounts and the Executor had to move the weeks involved over to my account through RCI. The bigger problem would be keeping a "sold week". If the seller were smart, this issue would be addressed in the sales agreement and just leave the reservation with the account using a guest pass, if needed.
