“You will soon be able to visit the Caribbean again — with the island of Saint Lucia the first Caribbean destination to officially reopen for tourism on June 4.

Saint Lucia Tourism Minister Dominic Fedee announced the move, which is part of what he called a “phased approach for reopening the island’s tourism sector.”

The first phase of the reopening will reopen Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport, which will be only open to travelers from the United States....”

@nerodog, It does look very nice, but I haven’t been there. It looks to be on a hill with a lot steps and according to RCI there is a weekly $220.00 service fee.

I have seen this resort cruising coming into St. Lucia dock many times on Celebrity Cruise Lines. It is on a hill surrounded by lush tropical plants & trees.
St Lucia is not a poor nation; there are many international banks located on this island and they have an excellent educational system.

This is one fact, I will never forget about this nation.
St. Lucia has more Nobel Prize winner per capita than any other nation in the world. They also, has the world's only drive in volcano at Sulphur Springs. The people are very friendly and their beaches are liked golden sand.
