I’ve been shopping for a small ship sailing cruise in the Caribbean. One company, Sail Windjammer, that sails on S/V Mandalay, just sent an email announcing that 2020 will be their last year offering cruises.

Some of you may remember Windjammer Barefoot Cruises back in the day, which offered a great experience for many years. When they closed down, as I understand it, a group of employees bought the ship, rebranded under the new name, and have been operating ever since. Now it seems that will come to an end this year.

An end to an era, for sure.

dang, never did quite make it on one....

It has been a few years, but I had looked at CruiseWest, not sure if you'll find them in the areas you want, tho.

There’s another company, Island Windjammers, that is doing similar cruises on newer boats. I presume they’ll take over the same routes the Sail Windjammer company will be vacating

Google says Cruise West went out of business in 2010. :)
