Good luck. That's a great idea, even if sis is a PITA. mine, too. I don't think I could be brave enough to share space with her for very long.

This is what Italians have been warning of. We didn't listen.

Still can go for walks, to the grocery, etc., so not completely homebound, nobody is going to ask for hall pass or arrest you. Distance required, the issue is virus spread.

I just read that there is actually no deadline on the state wide shelter in place. I wonder how long this could go on.

California has extended their deadline, but you still need to file Federal or extension on time. Federal has only extended time to pay (though this may change) unless you owe more than $1m.

Good news, we overpaid by $250 this year. Bad news the tax man thinks that's cutting it too close and wants quarterly pre-payments, the first two of which are due April 15. And there's that pesky property tax due the 10th. Hoping those will get a deferral!

Was listening to the NY Governor about shelter in place and he raised a good point that it would be impossible to make it work for NY unless the surrounding states (NJ, Connecticut etc.) also mandated this because there is too much movement between the states.

California has an advantage because there are large distances between major population centers and other states so a shelter-in-place statewide will contain the population well especially since Nevada now has restrictions for the next 30 days and the government is restricting air travel.

We have stayed home. Only Hub has had to go into work since he is LE. I did go into the mall last Sunday to use my FSA. I am hoping they extend FSA deadline because many of my medical supply orders were delayed, even bulking. Of course I forgot because of the Virus.

Excellent decision by the Governor of California, he made a decision to protect all the people in the state of California.

Let’s pray this will start the flatting of the Coronavirus in the state.
