We are staying here this coming July of 09 - we traded our DVC points for a 2 BDR.

I have seen pictures of the 1 BDR - Living Room with murphy beds, balcony, etc. I would love to see a picture of the 2nd bedroom. Our confirmation says there is a full bed - just curious also on size of room.

Thanks in advance.

Go to Royalresorts.com and also Mexicondo.com.

I'm not positive if they will have pictures of the bedrooms of each separate resort, but except for the decor, they'll all be the same. The Master bedroom has a king size bed, dresser, TV, small table, and a few small chairs. The second bedroom is basically the size of a hotel room, with two double beds, dresser, TV, small table, small chairs. In both cases there is a bathroom with tub/shower, a walk-in closet, a safe, and a large dressing area with sink with full-width marble countertop and large mirror. The second bedroom also has a small refrigerator and I think they recently added a coffeepot.

The terrace off the master bedroom/living room (AKA the suite) is very large, with a round table big enough for dinner and four chairs, and two more chairs with a small table between. The terrace off the second bedroom (AKA lockoff or hotel room) is small, with no chairs; you might be able to temporarily put the small bedroom chairs out there, but it'd be a tight fit. It's really more of a "Romeo and Juliet" type of standing balcony.

A picture of the second bedroom (aka lock-off) can be seen on the Royal Resorts web site at www.RoyalResorts.com. In the site click on "Royal Sands" in the list on the left, and then click on "Read more about our flexivillas at The Royal Sands" in the "Villas" section. The picture is the 4th one down on the right-hand side. A direct link is as follows: http://www.royalresorts.com/villas-royal-sands.asp

What you see in the picture is only 2/3 of the room. The 1/3 "behind" you in the picture consists of a small "kitchenette" having a fridge and coffee maker, a large walk-in closet, vanity area with sink and bench, and a separate toilet/bath/shower room. The room also has a separate entrance from the outside as well as a door that connects to the living/dining area of the main suite of the villa.

I see it. Thank you very much. I am glad to see the second bdr has it's own balcony and bath.

It's my husband and I - we were not sure originally if my daughter was coming. I have not decided if I want to invite my sister and her husband.

We shall see soon.

Thanks again.

Hi- I am also a DVC owner and I have been to the Royal Resorts, too. You will have a great time and the resorts there are top notch. But just so you know for the future, you would be much better off $$ wise if you do not do the exchange thru Disney's II desk. If I recall correctly, DVC requires you to relinquish 260 points for the 2 bdrm exchange (not to mention an exchange fee) You could EASILY get $11/pt renting out a DVC reservation thru disboards.com. Just look at their rent/trade board. So you could get over $2800 for those points. Now if you look at omcancun.com (we rented thru an owner there), check out their listings for Royal Resorts rentals. Their villas (which are 2 bdrms) go for less than $1500 for summer weeks. So you can save over $1300 this way. Yes it takes a few phone calls, but hey, the difference would pay for your airfare. One more thing: By doing it that way, you can choose the exact unit. II exchanges do not allow you to choose. Janis
