According to Facebook, a survey should be appearing in our email boxes within a few days.
I noticed that the survey did not address “Resales”.
When I was at the Tri-Royals this year, while sitting around the pool or sitting at the palapa bar enjoying happy hour, several people were talking about buying another week that would be before or after their current week(s). Several had talked with their salesperson and had gotten a price, which was high. The overwhelming advice was to shop the internet. It’s amazing that some people have not considered the internet as a source of shopping for timeshares. I guess the survey didn’t want to pass on this source of competition to those that don’t know it exists! :ignore:
Interestingly (but perhaps not surprisingly to Royals veterans) I learned of TUG directly from the Royals, and also learned of buying/selling online from the Royal Resorts salespeople.
Without my years of TUG experience, I wouldn't trust buying a timeshare on the internet. How do you know the seller is legitimate? Really owns the TS? that you aren't just sending your money to the "bit bucket"? I have now bought and sold online - but had I just heard of it, I'd have been quite leery of it.
