I noticed this following website.

http://royalresortowners.ning.com/

Worldmark owners have their wmowners.com website to exchange info. Is this a recognized gathering place for most royal owners? I mean the largest self-organized, non-official, website/blog?

Not sure about "recognized" or "most" other than a good many owners use it, so I'd answer "yes" to your question. I think it fills a niche in that is is different from TUG, Tripadvisor, rental blogs etc.

The problem that I had with this one was that there was no real mod or contact person. I had lost log on information twice due to hard drive failures, so I've registered twice but unable to access the boards. Password reset requests were ineffective.

There's a lot of member activity on the Royal FB site but it does not lend itself to very good discussion among members.

I hear you Mike, but the site can work fine. Maybe give it one more try?
