Does anyone have experience with Royal Holiday? I'm trying to find out the maintenance fee with the various levels of points membership, the minimum level of points you need to make it worthwhile, and if you can combine memberships. I've looked on their website and made several calls to them and have found no sign of intelligent life - no one has been able to answer these questions and their website has very little info. A link to get more info on the website didn't work.

This may be an indication why so many people are trying to give these memberships away.

15K points is not worth having. you pay far too much for the points.

Having combined points once with Royal Holiday, I would not do it again. It was not worth the hassel. Since you have to pay multiple transfer fees and multiple notaries, those are additional costs you have to factor in into the combination cost. It has been a long time so don't remember the exact figures but there are some old threads on the subject if you do a search.

I would look for a point contract size that works for you and do a single transfer.

Thanks for the info, Mary. How large is your contract and do you have the table that shows the maintenance fees for the various levels of points? From what I can tell you need to have at least 80,000 - 100,000 to make it viable economically but I haven't seen that large a contract for sale. Largest I've seen is 60K and some 40K's so you'd have to buy more than one and combine them.

60K would give you 2 or 3 weeks if you use it right... check the resorts and see what you might want to use your weeks and for what season/size for points required. When you know these info, easier to figure out how many points you might need.

Don't have the current tables.
