Another shocking death of Rowdy Roddy Piper. Reported to be from a heart attack.

It seems that anyone who wrestled with the WWF back in the 80s and 90s are cursed. All dying rather young. Not all have died of natural causes. Some have been killed in accidents.

Not a wrestling entertainment fan, but always sad when someone passes - especially for those who knew him.
80's and 90's wrestlers passing early of heart attack? Steroids, much?

I was at the Mid South Legends Fanfest in Charlotte when Roddy passed away. No one could believe it. It was very emotional. Bobby Fulton ( one half of the Fantastics) told me his Dad was in the room just bawling. His partner Tommy Rogers just passed away a few weeks ago. I was so lucky to meet Hod Rod in Charlotte a couple of years ago. He was and has always been my very favorite. That night there was a tribute to him at the fanfest. RIP Roddy

Forgot to mention : don't be so eager to jump on the steroid bandwagon.

Dusty & Roddy both died of heart attacks after battling cancer for many years.

Let's not turn a blind eye to steroid use, either. It was clearly an enhancement of choice back in the day, even if it isn't today (which is debatable). To deny the link between long term steroid use and eventual heart failure would be to sentence aspiring bodybuilders and WWE actors to early death in the unforeseeable future.
