Before booking a timeshare stay at a resort we've never been to I look at the TUG reviews as well as the RCI & Trip Advisor reviews. I also look for an online resort map and put the resort's address into Google Maps to see what is nearby. Sometimes I use the Street View feature to look on the resort's road and often the surrounding streets. I can also click on 'nearby' to see where the nearest grocery store or anything else is in relation to the resort.
