We've traded our Marriott 2 BR MOW into DSV1 next month. (We did this through II last year).
Will DSV reach out to us and ask if we have a preferred location or any other requests?
When we owned several weeks at OP that was a regular yearly occurrence.
We leave in about 3 weeks and I'm wondering if I should contact them.
Tks
Mike

Yes, you should receive a welcome email with a survey. However, I would suggest calling the rooms coordinator to submit requests too. Their number is 760-779-1200.

Have.a great time.

Best regards.

I guess I jumped the gun....because I just got an email from them. Their standard reply does not ask for villa location preferences.....so besides putting in my request (on the form that doesn't ask for one)...I'm calling the number that you provided. Thank you Mike....I appreciate your help!

There really aren't any terrible locations. All units and buildings have views of the golf course. Any building from G-T should be fine. Might want to indicate whether you prefer 1st or 2nd floor.

Yes, there are no really bad locations. We've been there before and now I've placed my requests. However, they've made changes as to when you can make tee times, it now must be 14 days in advance. I've made them earlier than that in the past, (so you could take advantage of the summer rates). I'll have to see what happens. Played there before for $49.00...but if it jumps to $100+ I'll reconsider taking my clubs or not. My game doesn't justify the price. We'll see in another 4 days.

I was able to book two tee times (2 days apart), but had to call twice to comply with the "fourteen day" rule.
Kind of a nuisance but I got it done. Very reasonable price for a class golf course. I must have gotten in before the winter rate change

suenmike: We will be there at end of Sept. Can you tell me best unit to request? Now that your staying there you would have a great idea of which units are most preferred. We would probably like the top floor. What do you think?
