Riviera oaks vs Lawrence Welk

I want to take my son to Wild Animal Park, zoo, sea world, etc in Jan. 2009 Rivieral Oaks in Ramona and Lawrence Welk in Escondido are avail. Anybody can recommend one over the other.

Lawrence Welk hands down! Great pools and water park for kids. Exceptional resort.

"Remota"

Riviera Oaks is listed as being in Ramona CA, however it is actually 12 miles east of Ramona, which we fondly dubbed "Remota". All of the San Diego County attractions are much further away from Riviera Oaks than they are from Lawrence Welk.

Lawrence Welk hands-down. It's also located closer to the beaches, if you want to go there.
