Review of Wyndham Paniolo Greens two bedroom in Waikoloa Hawaii Located in the Waikoloa Village area on the big island of Hawaii (25 minutes north of the Kailua-Kona airport) is where you will find the Paniolo Greens by Club Wyndham (Shell Vacations) timeshare. The property is extensive and feature a pool areas with jacuzzi, game room, putting green, grills, etc... It is a short two minute drive to the Waikoloa village where you can get groceries and other shopping items.

There were grills, a fitness center, and all the other amenities that you expect from a timeshare. Staff was great. Also, there was free parking.

What I like about this location is you are central to a lot of things. It is just a little over an hour to Hilo, 10 minutes to the beach, 40 minutes to Kona. Good place to explore lots of the Big Island.

We have stayed there a couple of times. Units were nice and as you said it's a central location to many parts of the island.

Generally there are 2 Options for a 2 bedroom at Paniolo Greens. Option 1 be on the first floor. It is true you have some one above you but the Unit is all on 1 floor. 2 Bedroom 2d floor. Actually it is a 2 floor Unit. The Kitchen, Dining, and Living Area are on the 2d Floor. The 2 Bedrooms and only Bathroom are on the 3rd Floor. So every time you have to use the Bathroom during the day you have to use the stairs. Also if you are not a Member you have to pay extra to have A.C.. We enjoyed our stay there several years ago.

We must have stayed on the second floor as I remember the bedrooms were upstairs. I didn't remember there was only one bathroom. What was nice was there was a small room downstairs, not really a bedroom, I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. We had an aupair with us and she used that space. Nicer than just sleeping on a fold out in the living room.

In watching the video it does show two bathrooms on the second floor with the two bedrooms. What is didn't have was the small room downstairs that I mentioned we had in our unit.

I chose the top floor unit because I liked the view of the trees a little better.... I would have taken the lower unit if it had been close to the Grills so I could easily walke to the grills. But you are right... Having to go upstairs to use the bathroom is a hassle. I was surprised that the sunsets were so enjoyable (even if you had to walk outside to watch them).
