This one has more amenities content. And some video (cell phone though) of check in.

Let me know how much (if any) the cell video content bothers you.

Enjoyed your video. Stayed there twice

How dost it compare to VV or Wyndham?

I'd say that it's close to VV, and maybe half a step below the Wyndhams I've stayed at so far.

Hi @jp10558
The Oak & Spruce TS was developed by Silverleaf and so there may be some variations from TS resorts Holiday Inn built & developed themselves.
HIVC acquired Silverleaf around 2016.

The Oak & Spruce name goes back to a prior hotel resort that was on the property.

The Presidential units on the property (white buildings) are a little different as well. They have washers and dryers in the unit. The second bath is a dual entry. (The privacy designation for these is 6/6) and the overall feel is a bit upgraded. The video you posted is pretty much what all the "lodge" units look like within the old Silverleaf properties. I'm at Timber Creek in MO this week, and the video could have been taken here. It's a carbon copy!

I enjoyed your review and video. Very nice.

right, we stayed in both unit types. I really dislike having the shower/tub so close to the bed. Also a big pain if one member is an early riser and the other isn't

Loved the video! We brought our Grandsons there two years ago and they had a great time!! :whooopie:

Good timing. We’ll be there in a couple weeks. Last year we stayed at Vacation Village which is farther north in the ski area. There was so much to do we’re going again this year: Tanglewood, various art museums, historic mansions, the Shaker Village, scenic drives, quaint small town shops, etc. etc. I can’t believe you were at a loss for things to do.

I don't know - we did drive by Tangelwood, but it looked like a event center with no event going on, and we don't usually like random concerts anyway. The quaint small town shops we saw made me think of the run down bad part of town in our local city - to the extent we were like... let's get out of here and this really strange craft / low low low budget convenience store / pottery studio. I was interested in the art museums, but my sister hates museums so I couldn't go (well, I guess I could have gone by myself). Didn't see any historic mansions or a shaker village, and TBH, where I live we have scenic drives and actual quaint small town shops that I can find, don't feel like I might be robbed at or get a disease touching the shelves or eating what might be really out of date shelf stable stuff, and enough to bore me to death.

TBH, Lee felt 97% where I live - the only thing it had was the resort and some sad small limited outlets. Which isn't the fault of Lee per se - just that it's not going to make us excited when we basically live there but 3 hours drive west.

We went to all kinds of interesting things.
Shaker village is a nice place to visit, out in the countryside
Norman Rockwell museum.
naumkeag, a beautiful mansion and gardens that belonged to Choat family,
we visited many historic homes, the botanical gardens, waterfalls, Chesterwood, The Mount, Arrowhead, Ventfort.

Indeed...I had a ball there last summer, and could fill another week with things to do. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose! :)

About 10 years ago I went twice in two years in late June.
loved the area, saw James Taylor one year and Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett the next at Tanglewood along with Boston Pops. Visited all the places @rapmarks did and more. Mass MOCA, The museum at Williams College, Mount Greylocks? and other outlying towns.

We stayed one time in a rather “basic” townhouse and the second in the much nicer Presidential units

It just shows how we all have different ideas of a great time
