The Kohala Suites are one of four Hilton Grand Vacation timeshares on the island of Hawaii. The two bedroom units are quite spacious with high ceilings as hardwood floors. Staying here you also have access to the Hilton Waikoloa via shuttle or you can drive (I walked the 20 minutes to enjoy the Hawaii air).
Be sure to go for a walk at night as you can see the stars very clearly. There are no large cities, so the stars are very visible and this adds to the aura of being in Hawaii. I like the volcanic shores of the big island. I enjoy sitting on the rocks listening to the waves roll in.
