About an hour drive from the Lihue Airport in Princeville Hawaii on the Island of Kauai sits the Club Wyndham Bali Hai resort. Today's review is of the two bedroom unit. The building are two stories tall and have lush tropical plant throughout. There are two pools, a fitness center, plenty of grills on the property.

The unit has two bedrooms each with a separate bathroom... One bathroom has a walk in shower and the other has a jacuzzi bath tub with a shower. Kitchen has everything you need. The living room was ample with a pullout sofa bed. Staff was great!!!

We always get a 2nd Floor Unit. It is a pain to haul up the luggage and groceries. But it is better for breezes and not to have people walking around above you.

When I was there last there was no A/C and I noticed there were A/C units on the walls in your review video. So I checked the Wyndham site and it said A/C available for a daily fee. Do you know what the daily fee is.

Bali Hai air conditioning charges: 1BR = $15/night, 2BR = $20/night, 3BR = $25/night
My understanding is that you tell them if you want it or not when you check in. You are charged for the entire length of stay, even if you do not end up using the air conditioning on all days.

It’s actually an optional fee for using A/C at a resort that did fine without it for several decades. Bali Hai has one of the lowest MF/points in Club Wyndham because of good management by its HOA that benefit owners there. When I’ve stayed there, I never felt the need for A/C and when I go back I won’t use it. YMMV, but it’s your choice when you’re staying there and as an owner there I kind of prefer it that way.

It has one of the lowest mf because it has one of the highest points grids, though I am sure it is also well managed.

A room that costs 300,000 points and a room that costs 200,000 points both may generate $1200 in resort expenses. You charge the former $1200/300 for $4 per thousand, and the latter $1200/200 for $6 per thousand.

I used Wyndham reward points to stay for free... No extra charges for the air conditioning.

I wonder how long the MF will stay low. It's a very old resort, has to be fairly expensive to maintain. I just wonder how soon a pretty expensive special assessment is coming. Or if the entire resort will just be dozed and new towers put up. In which case, bye bye your low MF, and your points for that matter. Probably get a pennies on the dollar type buyout or move your points into Acce$$...
