I am the executor of my deceased aunt's estate. She was single, never married, nor had any children. She owned a week at Avenue Plaza in New Orleans which is managed by Wyndham. We have been trying to close her succession but need to address her timeshare. I called Wyndham and was told to send death certificate, etc. and once that was done the property could be returned to inventory. I did that about a month ago and now I can't find anyone at Wyndham who knows a specific point person to talk to. I faxed in a request (as I was instructed to do) and now I'm told there is no specific department that handles these requests and no one can even tell me where my letter was faxed based on the fax number I was instructed to send the request to. Does anyone know anything about this procedure or any specific person at Wyndham that I could talk to about this matter? Thanks for your help.

If this is of any help to you, you can get directly to Wyndham Title Services by calling 1-800-251-8736. Select Option 2, then select Option 3. At that point you'll reach a live person in the title services section.
Having on hand the Wyndham contract number of the ownership at issue will certainly facilitate the progress of the conversation.

It's none of my business, but did you at all consider or examine selling the ownership on your aunt's behalf, rather than just giving it back to Wyndham? "Returning to inventory" sounds a bit like an unsolicited gift to Wyndham, but that is surely your prerogative. In any event, good luck.
