I recently bought some restaurant.com gift certificates for our trip to Charleston in January. Since it was such a good deal, I bought more than one. Now, I notice they list a limit of using one per restaurant per month. Has anyone tried to use more than one per month and was it a problem? Do they really enforce this rule? Reminds me of the 1 in 4 rule! Since we are going to be there only the one week it is impossible to spread them out.

The one a month applies per restaurant. You can use one every meal if you like, so long as you go to a different place each time.

You do realize that this 30-day rule only applies to the SAME restaurant, right???

:)

Seriously, all I know is that the restaurant will call a phone number to verifiy the validity of the code. I've been caught trying to use the SAME certificate (unintentionally of course), and they do have a way of catching that.

I find it hard to believe that they would be able to spot this, but you'll never know until you try... just order 'light' on the second try. :)

If you don't want to hassel this, contact customer service at restaurant.com and tell them you bought two in error and need to exchange one. In a day or two they should write you back with a restaurant.com g/c.

You then use that to book a new restaurant that you can use it at. That would be the safest.
