Resources and RCI point deposits

1) Been a while since I've posted or even asked a question on Tugg! Can someone point me to the resources on Wyndham new point system. I did take notes but can't find them anywhere? What i found on site was the old point system dating back to 2011

2) Maybe someone can chime in? Would save me a a lot of research. (still would like the link for future reference)


2020 points were moved into 2021

Live in Canada and am unsure if we will be able to travel in 2021? Can I deposit the 2021 points into RCI or are they screwed if I cant use or rent them?

I think Wyndham is still allowing points to be moved to future use years for free.

Will try calling Wyndham tomorrow to see if they will extend my points.
My 2020 points were moved to 2021.

You will be able to move points from 2021 up to your annual allotment. If you get 200,000 points a year and pushed your 2020 points to 2021 and now have 400,000 for 2021 you will only be able to push the 200,000 to a future year. You should however still be able to deposit the points you already pushed forward to RCI. That is not supposed to be allowed but as long as you dont go over the allotments in any single category then it should allow it.

And you dont need to call Wyndham you can do it all online. In fact Wyndham reps will probably tell you that you cant do what i just told you.

A) Switch my 2021 forward to another year
B)Then do a RCI deposit with 2020 points that were moved into 2021?

Assuming a January use year, note that (A) you won't be able to move your 2021 Wyndham points to a future use year until at least January 1, and (B) unless you have immediate plans to book in RCI, you should wait until as close to the end of the year as possible to deposit to extend their expiration date in RCI.

I think I am temporarily stuck? I can move 2021 points to RCI but they are not leaving me an option for bank points. I also cant move my 2021 points to future use years since they are march 31st 2021. have to wait until January 1st!

You can do them in either order, AFAIK.
