Resorts in Delray Beach

Hi Tuggers, Has anyone stayed in Delray Beach timeshares lately? My sister would like to trade into one thru RCI and would like to know what the area is like. I have only been to Delray on a day trip with my daughter, but I thought it was nice. Any comments? Thanks! TerryC

I think Delray is a great area. There are 5 time shares there, Berkshire by the Sea right in town, Dover house right in town, these are both across the street from the beach. About a mile South is Berkshire on the Ocean and South Shore Club, these are both ocean front. About 2 miles north of Atlantic Ave is Gulfstream Manor, also ocean front. These are all clean and well kept, but keep in mind these are also all older converted motels. Berkshire by the Sea in the D building is a newer building with larger units, about 700 sq ft for the one BR. Most of the others are around 500 sq. ft. These are far from luxuries, but clean and gives you that great old Florida beach feel. My favorites in the following order... 1) Berkshire by the Sea, 2) Berkshire on the Ocean, 3) Gulfstream Manor,
4) Dover House, 5) South Shore Club
