Has anyone used resortime.com...'new access for elite members'?..the resorts look nice, but I'm not actually familiar with any of them, but they use a ton of points...any comments?

Thanks!!

I briefly saw the list last week. Don't remember any of them other than Sheraton Broadway Plantation, which I booked through an RCI exchange last year for fewer points than booking a one bedroom in a HGVC property.

You can book them with points or go directly to their website and book nightly rentals at over 350 resorts. Most of them are in the US, Canada, and Mexico. I use them for most of my weekend travel but even booking a condo for a week usually works out to be pretty cheap if you are a timeshare owner. They are giving TUG members free premier owner membership which means if you log in you will see exclusive rates they negotiated for with the resorts themselves. Hope this helps.

Their previous promo code "TUG2011" still works for a free premier membership. When you type it in the promo code box on the signup page https://resortime.com/members/signup.aspx?membertype=ownerpremier it will automatically fill in credit card information and charge you $0. Then browse away. Happy travels!

Looking at the points needed for the resort stays I would not use Resort Time though HGVC. Some of those resorts you can get through RCI for a lot less points.

I had the same impression. Too many points for the offerings. THis is one elite perk that fell flat.

Thanks for the promo code, worked like a charm! A $30 free membership with my $15 TUG membership--good deal.

No problem for the code guys. As for the people concerned with using points, I don't really use points to book rooms with ResorTime, I just use the site like another expedia but that has lower rates for timeshare owners once your logged in. Hope it helps, happy travels!
