We're checking into the Resort on Cocoa Beach on Saturday, October 18. :whoopie: I looked online and see that there is some kind of biker rally that begins October 22 with participating hotels being the neighboring Hilton and Holiday Inn. Has anyone been in Cocoa Beach during this event? I doubt that it's as large as what happens during Bike Week in Daytona each March. This appears to be an event for Harley Dealers. We also just heard that the Shuttle launch scheduled for October 10 has been delayed until the 14th. We hope the weather delays it until we get there on the 18th -- keeping our fingers crossed!

Jan.....since we girls will miss the launch on the 10th (we leave ROCB the 11th), I hope it does delay again so you can see it. I am totally disappointed that we will miss it, but can't wait to get to CB next week-end.

Will be interesting, if there are many bikers in the area....most Harley riders seem to be good people.

Update on Shuttle Launch
USA Today reported this morning that the October launch for the shuttle has been delayed until November, may be later even! So, alas, we'll have to wait for another opportunity. I'll still be happy to be in sunny Florida in a couple of weeks. Any news on lack of gas in the state? I know it's been an issue in other southern states.
