Perhaps you should find out more facts about the situation than simply assuming the worst. Is there a rental program? Are the rentals used to lower the mf's of the owners? etc.

I agree.
As far as the drinking goes - I am NOT a regular drinker but on vacation I do have a few drinks, as does my husband.
Abuse the pool privileges in what way?? and scary how?? If I felt truly threatened by anyone I would report it to the resort management. I would do the same if the drinking was extremely excessive. People are on vacation to have fun and enjoy themselves - not everyone has fun the same way. Could be as simple as the owners letting their children or friends use the unit.
