Doesn't seem right. Maybe these rentals are scams, but not all of them can be. There are plenty more for June. So much for owners first.

I don't think they are necessarily scams but I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't cancelled after the guest cert is added. Maybe the owner doesn't realize it will happen. Maybe they know it is probable but simply have a line in the contract saying if the resort cancels then all the owner owes the renter is the fee returned.

My reservation that had a June 6 check in date was cancelled two days ago to the June 5 check in should be cancelled already if it was one that Wyndham selected for cancellation. Wondering about this I reached out for details.

I do have a theory that Wyndham is going to let the lottery choose the larger units that have reservations be the ones not cancelled. With all of the down time and partial resort openings Wyndham needs to make sure that as many points as possible are used for the limited rooms available. Of course larger room means more people but I think they will go for point depletion.

Don't know but I am watching closely as of right now it looks like I will not be able to reserve anything that I want for my family vacation. I'm ok with being out of the rental business for awhile but not a fan of nothing for me.

My 2BR Pres starting May 30 was downgraded to a 2BR Deluxe, then canceled yesterday. I say "my" -- it was for a guest. I had told the guest that it would probably get canceled within a few days of getting a guest confirmation. That's what happened.

100% resale!!
My daughter's reservation for Bonnet Creek June 6-13 was cancelled yesterday. Can't believe that a resort that huge could not accommodate everyone that did not cancel. She was pretty upset but was able to get another place. Of course she had to pay for the week and my guest reservation was free to her.

If you put her on at just 1 deed, then she's an owner and doesn't need a guest cert in the future. My reservation for May 31st is still good and I got a welcome email already. I made the reservation in the express window.

I agree. There are scores hundreds of outdated listings on Craig's List. Some are probably mine.

Wyndham is cancelling any reservation with a guest confirmation on it. It's not owner priority, at this point, it is owner's only. There's no way I would risk trying to rent to someone at this point in time, I don't have the confidence any non-owner reservation will be honored. I can only guess that the people are not fully aware of the policy currently in place.

Does anyone know if they are canceling Club Pass reservations made for a guest? I have one for a family member in late August at WorldMark Windsor.

I don't think anyone can guess for August at this point. I did see on Facebook where an owner's (not guest's) June Club Pass reservation at a Worldmark location was cancelled.

I think I'm going to cancel my 4th of July timeframe reservations for Wisconsin Dells. I picked them up in early May at half points. Since they are recent reservations they might get cancelled anyway.
