I think you'd have to make two reservations a week apart, because that's literally what you are doing, making two separate reservations. And the 12-month mark is based on the check-in date.
Got it. So there isn’t a way to book two consecutive weeks right at 52 weeks before check-in. One would have to book one at 52 weeks prior and the second, 7 days later, with a possibility of it being fully booked by then. However, if one makes a reservation at 51 weeks out, it’s a moot point and they can be booked within minutes.
Last question, do you have to have an account to see availability at the 8 month mark, or is it public somewhere? Asking as I’m making offers right now but was curious if one can view the calendar without currently having an ownership interest.

I don't think there's any way to see availability without an ownership, unfortunately.

I've never had any problem booking at 12 months exactly for a home resort, even at Thanksgiving I've been able to book. So I would feel reasonably comfortable that you'd be able to do the same with two reservations a week apart, so long as you are reserving each week right when they open up.
