"We" just signed a BG contract for additional points but wish to rescind. We signed 9.16.19 and the contract reads, "You may cancel etc within 9 business days after the date you sign the contract, and within 9 business days after the date you receive the approved public offering statement, whichever is later.

Question: We agreed to receive the public offering statement in an alternate CD-ROM and apparently it was not included in the packet. I am trying to track that down but in the meantime, am trying to figure out the interpretation of the claus. Does it mean both have to happen before you can rescind? (date contract signed & receipt of the public offering statement)?

No. Simply write and send the rescission letter. Their verbage is designed to do what it caused you to do. Question and wait potentially too long to be able to rescind.

Follow the instructions and send it to the business office by Certified USPS mail. Both of you sign the rescission letter.

We're glad you found us, and Good Luck! Welcome to TUG.

Thank you. We already own, but changed our mind about owing more. The demo from the primary Bluegreen Agent was not high pressured, but I think parts of it were misleading. The meeting started with an offer to purchase additional points at a higher price (over $3 per point) but then came back with a lowered amount (under $2) since we were already owners who have not attended a meeting for a while. Since coming home, I have had a chance to log into our existing account and check the same features we were shown and don't get the same result (hotel/points exchange require high amount of points whereas the one shown by the BG agent did not). There are some good features to upgrade, but just not sure its' economically worth our interest.
