I am looking to pickup 1 London Bridge Resort resale. I have looked at various ads and found a couple I am interested in. One of those ads is found on the Sell My Timeshare Now website. Not really sure if that is a site where I should make an inquiry about one of their listings as I don't want to open up a can of worms where they continually hound me with sales pitches. Can anybody give me any advice as to whether I should proceed with an inquiry with them? I have already checked Redweek and the TUG market place. Unfortunately the TUG marketplace did not have what I am looking for. Can anyone tell me what the approximate closing costs for a deeded ownership at LBR would be?

The SMTN website is horrible about responding. They make their money listing and seem to care little about actually selling those listings.

London Bridge Resort resale units are free or cheap.

But they won't be after you pay SMTN's multiple fees and inflated closing costs.

I have submitted some offers with SMTN and they are quite horrible. The agent that got assigned was horrible and disorganized. First, he didn't actually respond for couple weeks and then randomly starting calling me and emailing me about the offer couple weeks later. After i realized that they will be doubling my cost from $2000 to $4000 as they will be adding random junk fees I declined the offer. I somehow was responsible for "Brokerage Fee" "Admin" PLUS overinflated "closing cost" and "resort transfer fee".

After i declined once, he actually reached out to me 3 more times saying my offer was "accepted" with the same junk fees and once instance he actually sent me a contract to sign.... I don't know if they are just incompetent or unorganized or combination of both.

If this is the only place with the timeshare you want, it wouldn't hurt but make sure you review all the document and fees that supposedly charge. Oh i forgot to mention, they were also make me reimburse for the MF even though there was no guarantee that the points were going to be available for me to use.

can also try posting a want to buy listing on TUG! perhaps there are some LB owners who would be happy to sell knowing there was another TUGGER looking!

This is not the only place with the timeshare I want. Your story confirmed my suspicions and is precisely the reason why I asked the question here first. Thank you very much!!
