Marriott Resale -Interval World (international) Membership

Since this thread started on resale ,thought let me put my question here, I recently attended a preview session with Marriott in Spain - Playa Andaluza but was exploring resale market also. One point which Mariott sales man told that if you buy it through resale you can not exchange your timeshare though Marriott or Interval world.

Is it correct ?

Glad you are aware of resale- at least enough to question the retail salesman's 'stories'. Truth is that you can exchange your resale-purchased timeshare anywhere you want. It's yours.

Your sales man was a shameful liar. I wish you had known before hand so that you could have let him know that he should be ashamed of himself.
