Renting Restricted Star Options

Have a week listed on Redweek
It is getting close to start date
Received an inquiry from someone who made me an offer for my restricted Star Options if I have to cancel the reservation
Offer seems good
Can you rent Star Options ?
If not is the next pitch going to be that I need to give them access to my account so they can use them once the have rented them ?
Since that would give them access to my other weeks and ownerships I can't see where that would be smart

It doesn't matter if they are restricted or not - Staroptions are not transferable, and have never been.

Perhaps the person meant you can make a low-season reservation on their behalf.

StarOptions can't be transferred to other owners. This does seem like an odd request. StarOption based reservations, per the VSN rules, can't be rented unless they are at your home resort.

Maybe they want you to cancel so they can book with their own?

Regardless, you can’t rent out unless it is your home resort where the SO came from.

I give them access to my account and they can use the restricted starOptions
Even if I ignored Vistana rules I would not be comfortable with this --even though they say giving them access to me account is risk free to me
Can't help but feel there is a scam hiding somewhere
