Hello everyone... we've had years of success renting fixed weeks we own with Hyatt, but we are trying to rent a 2 bedroom week we have at The Grand Bliss over New Year's week this year.

I have noticed other people renting on VRBO had a 16% tax, which I assume is the VAT. I have read if you own a *furnished* house and rent it, you must charge VAT and pay to the Mexican government. But if you pay for your timeshare week, and rent it to someone else, do you need to pay Mexican tax?

Thanks in advance
