Renting at BWV or Yacht and Beach Club

For all you Disney owners and friends, what would be my best source for renting a 2 bedroom, or 2, 1 bedroom units at either of the above resorts for the weekend (or week) of the Goofy Run at WDW and when should I start looking? I have an II resort that has been known to trade for Disney on occasion, but not sure whether it has the omph to get that timeframe and according to II these units only have Friday, Saturday and Sunday check-ins - ideally I'd like a Thursday check-in.

The good news is this isn't a need for 2009, but for 2010 - so I think the dates of what I need would be about January 7 through 11, 2010.

An owner will not be able to make a ressie greater than 11 months out. Read some of the "sticky" info on disboard rent board (first link) it has some good info regardless of how you decide to go with renting. If you do need a specific date and want a certain resort start working at the 11 month to increase your chances.
