Renting an add-on night

Hi all--

I seem to own in just about every other TS network except HGVC.

Curious how easy it would be for a non-owner to rent an additional night from an owner. I am staying at Kings Land starting 4/2 and would like to add on a night for 4/1 so as not to have to change rooms (I know, not guaranteed, but I suspect I would have good odds of doing so).

Can anyone advise if this is possible and where the best place to go to inquire with owners with spare points?

Thanks,
Ryan

It isn't really possible. The minimum reservation is for 3 nights. We do have open season, which lowers the minimum to 2 nights for 30 days out, but they are very strict that the owner has to be the one checking in.

If someone has a lot of Hhonors points, they can book something and rent it to you, but it's not worth it for you or for them. You are better off just renting from Hilton.com.

I believe Presely is correct. If you have extra HGVC points you may be able to add to your existing reservation... Otherwise your best bet it book directly with Hilton via cash or HHonors points..

With the 3 day minimum for owners, you would have to find someone that had an existing reservation and did not need the first or last day... seems unlikely..

Thanks. This was the info I needed.
