Renters insurance saving anybody from this Covid 19 ?

Just wandering if anybody is getting saved if they took out insurance with traveling.

Didn’t want to highjack the thread about refunding the reservation made with strict cancelation.

I always inform strict cancellation make sure you protect your vacation with a policy available.

I purchased “cancel for any reason.” I’ll let you know how it goes. On the positive side 3/5 Airbnbs refunded 100% of my money. AA did not charge me the $525 to reinstate my miles. I have to provide proof of any money I received from hotel, airlines, etc before I can file a claim. Right now I can’t get through to Aegean Airlines.

I’ve read that only some CFAR insurances covers pandemics. Some even if yours do cover or don’t other might be covered or not.
