I am wondering if anyone has used the rental service that is available directly through VV?

I have tried using red week last year and was not lucky. I obviously should of tried here also. But with that said I know VV offers a rental service.

How does it work?
if you have used it did you get at least maintenance fees back, maybe made profit?

I am tempted to try this year on one of my weeks. We have a few trips planned but I was able to trade well in RCI, using this years trades and don't need all my points from the weeks next year.

Which resort? I don’t think any VV resorts are in great demand but the points they give are plenty. One thing I am going to try if I have no use points and perhaps you can also do is to use the points for air fare at close to 1 cpp. You have a red week, so very likely it will cover maintenance or most of it - much easier to accomplish than renting out.

Williamsburg, summer week.

I will have to check about airfare discounts. Is it that good?

If your Williamsburg is not a Points ownership it’s likely not going to work.
