I haven't been on this sight for a while. I have a timeshare I booked thru RCI on Hilton Head and need to know how to advertise to rent, I don't think I can use it. It is for the week of Oct 25. Please advise. Thanks
You need to go to the members only sighting/distressed forum. Read the rules for Distressed postings. You can't advertise "to rent" an RCI exchange in the marketplace or anywhere else on the forums.
I think RCI rules prohibit renting a timeshare booked through them but I'm sure a more experienced RCI Tugger will chime in.
You can cancel the reservation and depending on the time period between the cancellation date and the check in date will dictate the time-window you have to book another reservation.
I would advise against advertising an exchange for rent. Doing so violates RCI membership terms and you risk having the exchange canceled and your membership suspended.
