Any ideas on staying with Interval International vs jumping over to Marriotts new program? I have three weeks with Marriott that I split (80x3=240) and then deposit and trade (129x6=774). Cost to join Marriott Program 695.00 plus 199 per year. Is it worth moving to Marriott Program and giving up Interval International membership? What is everyone else doing?

There has been lots of discussion on this subject which you can access with the "Search" function, but the short answer is that if you own three units which you bought before 6/2010 and which you split and trade every year, the answer will be "yes".

There are lots of intricacies, especially if you want to get involved with trading in your units for points, but for straight Interval trades, your math on the potential savings is accurate.

It all depends on where you trade to. If all you are looking at doing is Marriott to Marriott trades, it may make sense. If you are looking at doing Marriott to non Marriott, you'll still need to pay for exchanges.
