Regardless of how you purchase, resell and retail points go into one account right?

I though I asked this here before but, if we purchase resell, purchase more resell, and or purchase retail all of the points are cumulative right?

I thought I understood the points aren't pooled.. But I must be wrong, I suppose your account and purchases are one in the same.

I must be confused somehow as this makes no sense to me in retrospect. Of course they would ALL be in one account.

They would be as long as the title of the deed is the same. Lets say if you have one contract i your name and another that has your name and someone else you would have two accounts.
The only other time you would have two account is if you purchase an affiliate resort and an actual hgvc resort. HGVC would set you up with two accounts. I have two accounts as i own both kohala suites (hgvc resort) and bay club (affiliate resort). I just call every january to pool the points into one account if i am not using my owners weeks.

Sometime it's actual a good thing to have two accounts.

In Rci they have the 1:4 rule for weeks stay (not points stay). With two hgvc accounts the 1:4 becomes 1:2.

As mentioned you can always move points around between the accounts.
