I was in Orlando at the Tuscany property in early October when Hurricane Milton was predicted to land in Florida in a couple of days. So I decided to fly home two days early, rather than ride it out. Good thing I did because MCO closed the day I was due to leave; the resort didn't close, however. I didn't have points protection; but I emailed customer service anyway, asking if they would refund points for the two nights I didn't use due to the hurricane. To my surprise, they did! That's good customer service.
