I live in Fort Worth. To the best of my knowledge there are no TimeShares in the vicinity...

Tanglewood up on Texoma is the only one I know of. Not really in DFW, but that's probably the closest TS.

The RCI directory shows The Lodge on Runaway Bay west of Ft. Worth and a couple of HIVC resorts east of Dallas in the piney woods of east Texas. We have no experience with any of them. You might want to look up the directory for RCI and/or II, whichever you have access to, and search for resorts in Texas.

We are down to three!!
HICV has two in east Texas. The Villages Resort and Holly Lake. I don't have much experience as I have only been to the Villages one a few years back only for couple of days. If you decide on that one I suggest you look for a presidential 6/6 through RCI. Larger unit and more updated. The other units are cabins and for just two of us they are cute and cozy.

If you are trying to spend time in the city areas, you are out of luck. The only one that comes to mind as a possibility with RCI for the immediate DFW area is Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine.

I didn't know that Great Wolf Lodge was available on RCI. Grapevine has a neat downtown, is real close to DFW Airport, and is a relatively easy drive to Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington (home to Cowboys and Rangers) as long as you avoid drive time traffic. In addition the massive Gaylord Texan Hotel is right down the street from the Great Wolf Lodge...
