I'm looking at 3 TS's for Ruidoso next spring, Innsbrook Village, Pinecliff Village and High Sierra. All the reviews on TUG are 5-10 years old. Does anyone have any recommendations? We'll be going there primarily to visit National Parks; Guadelupe Mt, Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands. Mainly concerned with a clean, comfortable place. We'll be four adults in a 2 BR.

Thanks in advance
Jeff

This is a little late for your needs, but as far as I can tell Innsbrook Village is no longer listed online in either RCI or II. In August 2020 a message on one of the TUG Forums said "Innsbrook Village in Ruidoso, New Mexico is currently in the process of shutting down. There are only 78 owners left and we were told it may take a couple of years to sell the units." Innsbrook Village (not to be confused with Innsbrook Village Country Club) is still listed on the VRI website and with 7Across. The timeshare condos have all probably been sold and are being rented out by owners.

Thanks for the reply, this is for Spring 2025, so I haven’t put the OGS in yet. Still interested if anyone has any recommendations for the area.

Thanks

We were out there in June of 2021 but didn't stay in a timeshare property, so I'm no help there. However, if your timeshare requests don't pan out, we had an excellent stay at the Best Western Pine Springs Inn, which is directly across the road from the racetrack and right on the highway to go to White Sands (my profile pic...!) We're pretty loyal to Hilton but we loved this property. It felt like being at a summer camp with lots of trees, decks, outdoor grills, etc. We actually spent a good bit of time relaxing there at the property playing cards outside and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Also, if you want to have a bit of an adventure, we loved the Zipline at Ski Apache. No physical fitness is required, they bring you to the top and you FLY down. Even if you don't want to zipline, it was absolutely lovely to drive up there and you can ride the cable car up for a view from the mountaintop. I really loved New Mexico and West Texas on our trips. I hope you do too!

We spent an April 2021 week at the Crown Point Condominium timeshare in Ruidoso. I really liked the location on a ridge overlooking mountains and the city although the 3 bedroom unit we were assigned had a very dated kitchen. We were joined on this trip by our DD, DSiL and 2 college-aged GS and had lots of fun on the various day trips we took: Three Rivers Petroglyphs, Roswell, where we lucked into hearing a lecturer at the UFO museum that convinced me to "believe", Smokey Bear museum, the world's biggest Pistachio in Alamogordo, White Sands National Park where we saucered down the dunes and a hike on the Mexican Canyon Trestle trail in Cloudcroft. DH and I also took an overnight trip away from the timeshare to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Parks. The town of Ruidoso itself is a delight with charming shops and well-done murals throughout.
