Hi I am thinking of exchanging into a Florida beach property. I currently own at vistana villages and am looking for a similar quality property but on the beach. Probably for a summer exchange.

We've stayed at Vistana Villages and loved it. We also live at the beach in FL. In our area there is one called Oceanique on Interval that is small but nice. I'm really not sure if it shows up frequently as I haven't searched it in a while, but the code was OCE. My folks stayed there a few times and it was nice. The units aren't quite as nice as Vistana Villages inside, but they are spacious and right on the beach.

We enjoyed Holiday Inn Vacation Club Cape Canaveral (former Ron Jon). Right on the beach and has lazy river-not many resorts have both features. Lots of fun activities for kids including indoor play area and movie theater. Only an hour away from Orlando-easy drive. We also went to Kennedy Space Center and Brevard Zoo.

My favorite is the Berkshire Beach Club in Deerfield Beach if there are only two adults. Nice pool, right on the beach, easy walking distance to fishing pier, shops, bars and restaurants. Deerfield Beach is located North of Fort Lauderdale and South of Boca Raton.

Thanks

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I have two teenage children and I think having access to the beach would really make our vacation enjoyable.

Have you tried the Panama City Beach and Destin area? Last month we were able to snag a 2-bedroom directly on the beach during the prime time season of Spring Break in March. We will be traveling with a college-aged daughter and a friend so hubby and I thought, why not! We don't eat out nor do we leave our condo except for long walks on the beach, being oceanfront, that's all we need (and a stocked fridge), so crowds won't be an issue for us!
