I have bought a lot of ePluses which I ended up not utilizing. Prior to the introduction of ePlus, I used to cancel to get a cancellation week which was good for a year and then pay for a trade again using OGS or instant trade.

If I don't buy ePlus within 5 days, can I just pay full retrade fee if I need to retrade, without cancelling the trade?

Yes you can. You will have a Start Retrade button on the My History page instead of the EPlus Retrade button. You will just have to pay the full exchange fee for any retrades without EPlus. Though, if there is even a small chance you might retrade, you would be better to buy EPlus, $54 is a lot cheaper than $179.
