Just received my recorded deed on a RCI points purchase. I have the completed RCI Transfer Application. Do I need to wait for the resort to put me in their system before sending the transfer application along with a copy of the recorded to RCI ? And, typically how long does RCI take to transfer ownership ? Thanks TGG family in advance.

It depends on the resort. I used to have a South African timeshare that took forever to put my week in RCI. Then I have others who put it n fast, even without paying my Maintenence fee. Contact the resort if they don't know then contact RCi,

I would think RCI will take longer than the resort. It seemed like it took almost 6 weeks for me. So you might want to wait a week and then send in the RCI transfer application.
