This is not an option in our RCI portal since it only shows up on an RCI Weeks account, but this is the first I have seen of being able to trade into a Hampton Inn through RCI.

A $249 exchange fee along with 12 TPUs for three nights seems a bit steep to me. Looks like it would cost me $329 per night booking the same thing in the Hilton App.

We once stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on 14th Street for 6N.
Used HH points. A bit closer in... easy walk to the WH and the Mall.

I’ve seen this on the points side as well once.

I'm a bit curious about the math on this one. I'll agree that $987 for 3 nights is a bit steep. But how much would 12 TPU cost? More than $738.

Fair point. I probably have about $250 in 12 TPUs (only factoring in MFs and annual costs). Not an awful transaction considering total costs and that Hampton Inn being expensive.

The $249 exchange fee for 3 nights has some sting, though.

I see this popup for a Hilton Garden Inn in Washington, D.C. where it might be worth the exchange fee.
