RCI Settlement - Whatever happened?

When I Google RCI settlement, most of the references are what may happen in the settlement.

So..... has this settled completely?

Anything significant?

I read that people got $20.:cheer:

Can RCI still rent out owners deposited weeks?

This is a link to a summary from Jennie who attended the court hearings.
Rentals are alive and well unfortunately. In addition I believe the concessions noted are only enforceable for a certain number of years. Hopefully someone will correct me if I misunderstood and after that time period RCI would be free to rent all deposits immediately without making anything available to exchangers. In addition no independent group was assigned to make sure RCI is doing what they were ordered to do. RCI is allowed to police their own activities.

I got a $20 credit, which I am never going to use since I am not renewing my membership.

I'm not proud . . . I used mine when we booked our exchange into Ireland for this coming April.
