RCI Sale is Frustrating Again

All day RCI has been promoting a sale starting at midnight last night. So I wait up to see what it is. Extra vacations are supposed to be on sale. When I click on the front page to search now, after I log in. I get it has expired. The last 4 sales they have promoted on their front page I have received this. When I search other ways I also see no sale. Can anyone see an EV on sale? If so could you tell me what week and I can see what I get. Last year I booked 10 weeks this way. This year it has been frustrating. I also dropped platinum. I know last year that did not matter.

Congrats! The fees were high... You paid over a 1000$ for it + fees? I was looking at it.

Yeah. 1050 + 2020 maint + closing + transfer + RCI + god only knows what LOL. I didn’t think I would win and poof “congrats you won” lol. Meanwhile I just wanted around 60K points Lol. It’s fine. I’ll make it work for a year or two. If I have to unload it, it should be fairly easy to get out of. It seems like a much better ratio of points to maint fee that Grandview.

Yeah I have some GV in process of transfer. Free all the way with free use. I'm thinking that If I like RCI I can hunt better contracts later. We'll see

Try not going through the link. Just log onto your rci account and see if you see it in the offers.

Bluehende, I just went and looked at it. After clicking on the sale, I saw the same thing as you for Woodstone at Massanutten. But when you click on the resort, they show you the $249 weeks.

When I search for that particular resort I get this.

Try checking off DEALS filter in Top Options.

The discount only shows when you view available weeks, not in the search results.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have tried all of them.

Update

The live chat said he could see the sale through my account. We tried everything......I even isolated our wifi by using my phone with it turned off. There is something at rci blocking me.

Next I called in and here is where it gets good. The person says that I cannot see sales because of a contract between my resort and rci. I called his BS but he stuck too it. I called my resort and of course this was complete BS. They gave me another number,

This call they said the sale that they counted down yesterday. Advertise with no exclusions on the front page and advertise heavily while on hold is only for a few select systems. It was Berkley, Worldmark, and I believe blue green (not sure of the last one).

So three contacts and 3 different answers. So again I put out a plea to now see if you can see the sale and now tell me what system you may be in.

All morning and all I have is frustration to show for it.

Promotion title: "Vacations just $249 per week!"

I can see 249 resorts with a straight Weeks account (paid out of my Wyndham annual fees).
I can also see 249 resorts with the Wyndham portal.

I can see 246 resorts. Is there anything you'd like me to look for?

Edited to add: I have one independent timeshare that I trade only through RCI.
